Peng Chris Taylor Meng

Chris Taylor, PEng, MEng, MBA has over 20 years of experience in product management and is currently serving as the Director of Product Management at Ribbon Communications. Prior to their current role, they held the position of Director of Product Management at Kandy Communications, an AVC Technologies company. Chris also held a senior product management role at Ribbon Communications, where they were responsible for the cloud-based Communications Platform as a Service (CPaaS) called Kandy, focusing on billing, security, and regulatory compliance. Before joining Ribbon, Chris worked as a Senior Product Manager at LogMeIn, where they specialized in security, compliance, and international markets. Chris also had a role as a Senior Product Manager at BlackBerry. From 2012 to 2016, Chris worked at Entrust Datacard as a Senior Product Manager, overseeing the Entrust IdentityGuard product portfolio for global financial institutions, governments, and enterprises. Earlier in their career, they held senior product management positions at Avaya (acquired from Nortel) and Nortel, where they managed the Avaya Communication Server 1000 (CS 1000) product solution. Chris started their career at Validian and Mitel as a Product Manager.

Chris Taylor, PEng, MEng, MBA, has an extensive education history. Chris holds a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) with a focus on Finance and Marketing from the Telfer School of Management at the University of Ottawa. Prior to this, they earned a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Systems Engineering from the University of Ottawa. Chris also holds a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.Sc.) in Mechanical Engineering, also from the University of Ottawa. In addition to their formal education, Chris has obtained certification as a Pragmatic Product Marketing professional from Pragmatic Marketing.
