Kathrin Verestoun has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Kathrin has recently worked as an Analytics Engineer at Ribbon since 2022. Prior to that, they were a Staff Data Analyst at Bread Financial from December 2020. Kathrin also held the position of a Senior Data Analyst at Bread from March 2020 to December 2020.

Before joining Bread Financial, Kathrin worked at Mizuho. Kathrin started as a Market Risk Analyst in May 2011 and later became a VP in Risk Analytics and Modeling, where they played a key role in enhancing the Liquidity Risk Management Framework of the banking entities. Kathrin'sresponsibilities included analyzing historical time series changes, productionizing reporting processes, and assessing sources of intraday liquidity risk. Kathrin also played an important role in creating a new, firm-wide FR 2052a reporting process and establishing a Liquidity Risk Management Framework for the US Operations of a Foreign Banking Organization.

Prior to Mizuho, Kathrin worked as a Japanese Customer Sales Associate at FXDD from June 2010 to May 2011.

Kathrin Verestoun completed their education in a chronological manner. Kathrin first attended the Flatiron School in 2019, where they participated in an Immersive Data Science Bootcamp. Prior to that, from 2016 to 2018, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Quantitative Methods and Modeling at the Zicklin School of Business. Kathrin'sundergraduate studies took place from 2007 to 2010 at the Georgetown University Walsh School of Foreign Service, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Science, Technology, and International Affairs.

In addition to their formal education, Kathrin Verestoun also obtained several certifications. In 2014, they completed the Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1, offered by the United States-Japan Foundation. In 2015, they obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification from the CFA Institute. In 2013, they also earned the Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) certification from the GARP FRM Program.
