Jane Zhang, Ph.D. has significant experience in the field of tourism, education, and marketing. Their most recent position was as the Director of Tourism, Culture & Education at the Richard Nixon Foundation, where they were responsible for building a network of industry partners and leading international marketing efforts. Prior to that, they served as the Principal & President of Legend Travel & Tourism Advisory, where they developed professional development training programs and recruited academic lecturers. Jane also has experience as a professor at Xi'an International Studies University and California State Polytechnic University-Pomona, where they taught courses, conducted research, and developed partnerships. Jane Zhang, Ph.D. received their Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and Linguistics from Beijing International Studies University from 1983 to 1987. Jane then pursued a Master of Science degree in Isenberg School of Management from UMass Amherst from 2001 to 2003. Following that, they obtained a Ph.D. in Tourism and Travel Services Management from Purdue University between 2004 and 2008.

The Richard Nixon Foundation is a privately supported, non-profit institution dedicated to educating the public about the life, legacy, and times of the Thirty-Seventh President. Through unique exhibits and events the Nixon Foundation helps visitors discover the many surprising and unexpected accomplishments of the 37th president and the impact they have on our world today. The Foundation supports exhibits and programs on the nine acre Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum. As a performing arts center for public affairs, the Foundation’s year-round programming features national policy conferences, study groups, town meetings, school editor forums, and a continual schedule of distinguished speakers and authors from government, politics, the media, and public affairs. The Presidential Library is home to more than 42 million pages of documentation and material from Richard Nixon’s life in politics, as well as a nationally recognized research center, giving students and scholars the opportunity to study RN’s legacy and historic presidency.
