John Bayless

John Bayless is a seasoned leader in the homebuilding and land development industry with extensive experience across multiple roles and companies. Currently serving as Division President for Richmond American Homes since July 2020, Bayless is responsible for full P&L oversight of the Northern California Division, delivering over 1,000 homes annually. Prior to this role, Bayless was Vice President of Land Acquisition & Development at Meritage Homes, managing land activities that produced 800+ finished homesites each year. Bayless has also held significant positions including President of Bayless & Hicks, Inc., Executive Vice President at Signature Homes, and VP of Land at Pulte Homes. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science degree from the Haas School of Business at the University of California, Berkeley.
