Alex Poirot

Vice President, Policy & Regulatory at Beep

Alex Poirot began their career as a Campaign Manager and Legislative Aide for the Georgia General Assembly in 2010. In 2010, they also served as Deputy Campaign Manager for a successful congressional campaign. From 2011 to 2019, Poirot worked in the U.S. House of Representatives as a Senior Policy Advisor, providing legislative and strategic counsel on various issues and managing official correspondence. In 2019, they joined the U.S. Department of Transportation as a Senior Governmental Affairs Officer before becoming an Associate Administrator for the Federal Transit Administration, where they led a team of professionals in congressional/intergovernmental and public affairs until 2021. During this time, Poirot also held positions as Legislative Committee Chair at the North American Transit Alliance and Director of Corporate Affairs at Keolis North America Inc. They are currently working as the Vice President of Public Policy at Beep, Inc.

Alex Poirot attended Forsyth Central High School from 2002 to 2006. After completing high school, from 2006 to 2010, Alex pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Speech Communication at The University of Georgia.
