Role Summary
As the Head of Operations at Beam Mobility Malaysia, you will lead daily operations and drive key initiatives aligned with the country's strategy. Reporting directly to the Country GM, you'll ensure our efforts are always in sync with broader goals. This role demands a self-starter with extensive experience in scaling business operations and a proven ability to strategize and execute with a team.

Analytical, collaborative, and a strong leader, you will be part of the efforts to drive business impact in Malaysia's dynamic micromobility sector with Beam.

Responsibilities

  • To keep a tight lid on the operations of Beam MY, and has a finger on the pulse of the many different moving parts of the operations in Beam MY.
  • To query out relevant data via SQL, accurately and quickly, for business analysis purposes.
  • Analyzing operational metrics, business P&L, and reviewing trends against the MY's Ops Strategy - to formulate relevant problem statements, appropriate solutions, and driving execution with the operations team in an organized manner.
  • Managing the day-to-day of MY's ops ensuring operational excellence.
  • He / she should be able to optimize and engineer processes relevant to driving efficiency & effectiveness.
  • Manage and lead the core operations team in driving strategic initiatives.
  • He / she will be charged to driving the execution of identified initiatives together with the team.
  • Oversee core & the wider ground operations team; ensuring excellence in efficiency & effectiveness across the entire operational chain.
  • Maintaining a tight alignment between operations, and the wider country strategy as set by the Country GM.
  • He / she will need to be able to move cohesively with the country management in an agile manners, as required by the nature of the industry we are in.
  • To inculcate the highest standards of professionalism, team cohesion, and high-impact culture within the operations team.
