Ashutosh Upadhye has been working in the software engineering industry for the past five years. In 2022, they began working as a Backend Software Engineer for Ridecell. From 2019-2022, they worked as a Software Engineer for Delta Dental of Michigan, where they developed a Domain Specific Language Editor which parses source code of language files and validates, syntax highlights using ANTLR Parser. Additionally, they developed a Tooth Bone Loss Prediction System by segmenting the molar and premolar samples of bitewing x-ray images and calculating the area of triangulation regions between the adjacent molar and premolar teeth. From 2018-2019, they were an Application Software Developer Intern for Delta Dental of Michigan, where they developed post processing imaging algorithms using local histogram adaptive equalization (CLAHE) and denoising filters (Top hat and bottom hat filters) to enhance the quality of dental x-ray bitewing images using OpenCV Python. Finally, from 2016-2018, they were an Android Developer Intern for Mpiric Software.
Ashutosh Upadhye obtained a Bachelor of Technology - BTech in Computer Engineering from Dharmsinh Desai University between 2013 and 2017. Ashutosh then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Arlington between 2017 and 2019. In 2018, they obtained the Information Systems Security Professionals certification from the National Security Agency.
