Laura Wiessner has an extensive work experience in various roles and companies.
Laura currently works as a Technical Project Manager at Ridgeline International, Inc. since January 2023.
Before that, they worked for the U.S. Department of State as an Economic Analyst from November 2020 to October 2022, where they supervised the Embassy Athens economic and public affairs teams and directed the POWER project.
From February to July 2017, they were a Senior Consultant at INTEGRITYOne Partners, where they managed the development and requirements teams for a high visibility application.
Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Business Analyst at Publicis Sapient from March 2012 to February 2017, where they organized Intranet Working Group meetings and provided recommendations for intranet search engine optimization.
Laura also had a role as a Consultant at INTEGRITYOne Partners from February 2010 to February 2012, where they led the testers for the Functional Quality Testing effort for the Department of Homeland Security.
Laura'searlier experiences include working as a Consultant at Deloitte Consulting from November 2008 to January 2010, and as a Consultant at Accenture from June 2005 to October 2008, where they served various clients including the U.S. Postal Service, Department of Treasury, CapitalOne, and Defense Logistics Agency.
Laura Wiessner graduated with a B.B.A. degree in Marketing and Art History from The George Washington University in 2005. In 2004, they also studied Marketing at Richmond, The American International University in London for a brief period. Additionally, Laura has obtained various certifications including the Google Project Management Certificate from Coursera and the Scrum Master Certified (SMC) accreditation from the Project Management Institute in August 2022. In March 2017, they obtained the CSM certification from the Scrum Alliance and the PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA) accreditation from the Project Management Institute.
