Eduards Toms

Eduards Toms is a corporate financial leader with experience in both the public and private sectors. Eduards is currently a member of the Supervisory Board at Riga Airport.

Prior to their current role, Toms served as the Chief Financial Officer of primera air from May 2016 to October 2018. In this role, they were responsible for the airline's financial planning and reporting, as well as for developing and implementing financial strategy.

Before joining primera air, Toms was the Finance Director at consolis, a construction and engineering company, from June 2013 to February 2015. In this role, they oversaw the financial operations of the company's Scandinavia and Eastern Europe branch. From August 2010 to June 2013, they served as the Financial Processes Development Manager for consolis. In this role, they were responsible for streamlining the company's financial processes and procedures.

Toms began their career at arthur andersen & co., where they worked as a semi-senior from September 1995 to December 1997. Eduards then joined Rietumu banka as an internal auditor, where they worked from January 1998 to January 2000. Eduards then transitioned to the manufacturing sector, joining ABB as a finance manager in January 2000. Eduards held this position until January 2003, when they were promoted to General Accounting Manager. Eduards held this position until December 2004, when they left ABB to join airbaltic as their Chief Financial Officer.

Eduards Toms attended the Riga Secondary School No. 40 before going on to the Stockholm School of Economics in Riga. Eduards then earned their Masters, Bachelors, and Bachelor of Science from Latvijas Universitate.
