Alise Pizika

Alise Pizika is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in sustainability and innovation. Currently serving as a Climate & Innovation Advisor in Riga since January 2023, Alise co-founded Alter Labs, focusing on promoting circular design and educating various stakeholders about sustainable practices. As Director of the RTU Science & Innovation Centre and Head of the Innovation Ecosystem Development Division at Riga Technical University, Alise engages with multiple EIT Knowledge and Innovation Communities. Previous roles include managing the EIT Climate-KIC Hub in Latvia and serving on the Management Board of UniLab, fostering high-value business ideas. Alise's earlier career highlights include brand management positions at Rimi Baltic Group, Aldaris, and adidas, where responsibilities encompassed brand development, marketing strategies, and team leadership. Alise's educational background includes a PgC in Sustainable Business from the University of Cambridge, an MBA from Riga Business School, and a BA in Public Relations & Marketing from Rīga Stradiņš University.
