Damon Barsuglia

Director of Sales, Americas and APAC at Rigado

Damon Barsuglia has over 20 years of experience in sales and sales management. Damon started their career at Wygant Scientific in 2000 as a Regional Sales Manager. In this role, they were responsible for sales in multiple territories, building relationships, performing presentations, fielding questions, and designing and quoting systems to meet customer needs. Damon also managed multiple multi-state territories by prospecting and contacting company distribution partners and potential customers. Damon also hosted webinars answering sales and technical questions. In 2007, they joined Cerium Networks as an Outside Sales Associate. In this role, they built sales of Avaya and Cisco networking and telephony solutions. Damon analyzed customer network environments, recognizing their strengths and weaknesses and proposed proper solutions. Damon used various techniques to build company sales such as cold calling, networking, mass emails, webinars and door-to-door sales. In 2008, they joined Future Technology Devices International as an Account Executive / Distribution Sales Manager - Americas. In this role, they were responsible for managing and executing direct and channel partner sales activities for North, Central and South American territories for FTDI’s line of USB solutions. Damon was also in charge of business assessment of potential and current opportunities both direct and through distribution partners. Finally, they were responsible for defining and establishing annual, monthly and quarterly sales and marketing objectives in coordination with FTDI’s world-wide sales plan. In 2015, they joined Rigado as the Director of Sales, Americas and APAC.

Damon Barsuglia graduated from the University of Oregon in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Math and Computer Science.
