Ken Kachmar CPHR, SHRM-SCP has extensive experience in human resources and indigenous relations. Ken is currently the Director of Human Resources/Indigenous Relations at RIGHT CHOICE Camps & Catering Ltd. Since June 2020.

Prior to that, Ken worked at Civeo North America for 15 years, starting in September 2005, as the Director of Human Resources. Civeo is a global mining services accommodation provider, and Ken was responsible for various HR functions within the company.

Before joining Civeo, Ken served as the Human Resources Manager at Nilsson Bros Inc / XL Foods, a group of livestock-based agricultural businesses in Alberta, Canada. Ken'srole involved HR management within the food-processing facilities.

Ken also gained experience as the Human Resources Manager at Federated Co-operatives Limited from January 1998 to January 2002. Additionally, they worked as a Technical Recruiter at Harcourt & Associates, a leading recruitment firm, from September 1997 to September 1998, where they handled full-cycle recruitment activities.

Ken began their HR career as a Human Resources Coordinator at West Fraser, a North American wood products company, in September 1995. Ken'sresponsibilities included recruitment and onboarding processes.

Overall, Ken Kachmar has a diverse background in HR roles, spanning industries such as mining, agriculture, and wood products.

Ken Kachmar CPHR, SHRM-SCP attended NAIT (Northern Alberta Institute of Technology), where they pursued a field of study in Human Resources Management and Services. In February 2008, Ken obtained the CPHR certification from CPHR Alberta. Later, in June 2019, they earned the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) certification from SHRM.
