Justin Westra

Justin Westra has a diverse work experience in the field of technology. Justin is currently working as a Senior Frontend Developer at Rightpoint since January 2020. Before that, they were self-employed as a React Developer in 2019. From April 2019 to January 2020, they worked as a Consultant at TandemSeven, a Genpact company.

In 2014, Justin worked as a Software Engineer at G360 Link, where they were involved in developing an administration console for a SaaS-based Audit Remediation and Compliance platform. Justin also contributed to the design and functional specifications for a custom UI framework using JavaScript and Knockout.js.

Justin has experience as a Data Analyst at NewsBank from March 2013 to May 2014. Justin was responsible for developing and maintaining XML-based deconstruction rule-sets, handling maintenance tickets, and training team members. Justin also attended development planning meetings.

In 2012, Justin worked as an Intern at C&S Wholesale Grocers, where they assisted developers in a Java-based environment and developed a site recon for developers and managers. Justin also worked on developing an alerts process for customers based on a subscription system.

At Keene State College, from October 2009 to May 2012, Justin worked as an Aspire Tutor, guiding students in programming concepts and assisting with coursework in subjects like Java Programming and Data Structures and Algorithms.

Throughout their career, Justin has also held roles as a Web Developer at 4Web Inc in 2011 and as a Technician at First Choice Telecommunications Inc in 2010.

Justin Westra attended Keene State College from 2008 to 2012, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science. Justin'sfield of study at the college encompassed PC Repair, Networking, Software Engineering, and Database Administration. In 2017 to 2018, Justin pursued further education and obtained a Full Stack Web Development Certification from freeCodeCamp, focusing on Computer Software Engineering.
