Frank Willems

Frank Willems has extensive experience in cardiology and healthcare management, currently serving as a cardiologist and medical manager for the acute and intensive care division at Rijnstate since May 1998. Willems holds several leadership roles, including vice chair of the add-on committee for expensive medications at Rijnstate Hospital and chair of both the Cooperative Medical Specialists Rijnstate and the Medical Staff Association. Additionally, Willems is a member of the Board of Commissioners at Adrz, chair of the Supervisory Board of the Nederlandse Vereniging voor Cardiologie, and an arbiter at the Scheidsgerecht Gezondheidszorg. Previous roles include managing director at Cardioresearch Arnhem BV and vice chair of the Supervisory Board at Zuyderland. Willems completed an MD PhD in cardiology and chemistry at Radboud University and was involved in initiatives to improve healthcare accessibility and quality for chronically ill patients.
