Leonardo Cangelmi

Leonardo Cangelmi is an experienced project manager currently working at RINA since June 2022, overseeing diverse engineering projects in energy and decarbonization, focusing on hydrogen, renewables, and power grids, while managing international proposals. Prior to this role, Leonardo worked as an Energy Business Analyst at BIP, managing the installation process of rooftop PV plants and developing offerings for Renewable Energy Communities. Leonardo also completed an internship at The Cyprus Institute, conducting research on concentrated solar power systems. Involved in academia, Leonardo co-founded a youth project under UNICA and held a position as a student collaborator at Sapienza Università di Roma. Leonardo holds a Master of Science in Energy Engineering from Politecnico di Torino and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Sapienza Università di Roma, among other educational qualifications.
