Alyssa Newcomb

Alyssa Newcomb is a Senior Archaeologist and Program Manager at Rincon Consultants, Inc. since September 2020, with extensive experience in managing cultural resources projects at SWCA Environmental Consultants from May 2014 to August 2020. Responsibilities have included budgeting, conducting records searches, directing fieldwork, and preparing compliance reports with a focus on archaeological analysis, including artifacts and human remains. Earlier roles at Boston University School of Medicine involved assisting graduate students in forensic anthropology and facilitating educational seminars for high school students. Alyssa holds a Master of Science in Forensic Anthropology from Boston University School of Medicine and dual Bachelor of Arts degrees in Art History and Anthropology from San Diego State University.
