George Pratt

George Pratt is a distinguished professor in the Illustration Department at Ringling College of Art and Design since 2006, focusing on Figure Drawing, Painting, and Sketchbook courses. With extensive experience in academia, George previously held professorships at Virginia Commonwealth University and Pratt Institute, where significant contributions included teaching Figure Drawing, Painting, and establishing Sequential Art/Graphic Novel classes. Additionally, George serves as El Presidente at Blind Boy Studio since October 1960. George holds a BFA cum laude in Fine Art, Drawing and Painting, Illustration, and Printmaking from Pratt Institute.
