Ellen Gay

Ellen Gay is an experienced educator with a focus on gifted and talented programs. Currently serving as a G/T Specialist at Medina Valley ISD since July 2018, Ellen coordinates all aspects of the Gifted program in a rapidly growing school district near San Antonio. Prior to this role, Ellen has been a Gifted and Talented Teacher at Ringwood Public Schools since August 2012, where Ellen provides rigorous enrichment programs for students in grades 3-8 and actively identifies initiatives to challenge these students. Ellen's earlier experience includes teaching middle school science, math, and algebra at Ringwood Christian School from November 2002 to June 2012, where a hands-on science program emphasizing inquiry and research was developed. Ellen holds a Master of Education in the Teaching of the Gifted and Talented from Arkansas State University, along with a Bachelor of Arts in Math/Computer Science and an Associate of Arts in Pre-Engineering.
