Sam Howitt

Sam is the Clinical Informatics Officer (CIO) at Rinicare, and is a Speciality Trainee in the field of Cardiothoracic Anaesthesia and Critical Care. He extended his clinical training period to undertake a PhD in the subject of risk prediction following cardiac surgery at the University of Manchester. During this project he co-ordinated the conduct of collaborative research involving multiple institutions. He has expertise in the extraction, cleaning and analysis of patient monitoring data and a keen interest in risk prediction based on such data.
