Troy Danahey

Troy Danahey has a diverse and extensive work experience spanning over three decades. Troy began their career as a Systems Instructor at Norstan Communications Systems in 1989, where they trained individuals on various systems. In 1990, they became a Client Training Representative at Colorocs Corporation, focused on providing training to clients.

From 1991 to 2008, Troy worked at Sealy in different roles, starting as a Corporate Sales Trainer and eventually progressing to the Director of Sales Education. In this position, they were responsible for designing and delivering sales training programs, assessing developmental needs, and identifying new training techniques and technologies.

In 2008, Troy joined Whirlpool Corporation's Jenn-Air division as a Sales Training Senior Manager. Troy successfully set the vision and strategy for the sales education team, aligned training and development strategies with overall goals, and incorporated evolving education technologies.

In 2016, Troy joined Rinnai America Corporation as the Director of Training & Development, and later became the Senior Director of Training & Development. In these roles, they drove employee development and perpetuated the company's culture by developing and scaling leadership development programs, onboarding initiatives, and mentoring programs.

Troy Danahey has a Master of Science in Training and Development (MSTD) from the University of St. Francis, which they obtained from 2003 to 2007. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Interpersonal Communications from Marquette University, from 1983 to 1987. Troy completed their high school education at Saint Edward High School, where they received a High School Diploma in College Prep from 1979 to 1983. Additionally, Troy has obtained certifications in Continuous Improvement - Green Belt from Whirlpool Corporation and Purpose Driven Time Management from Chrysalis Consulting, LLC.
