Manuel Pérez Palacios MBA, CTP, FPAC, FMVA is a finance and risk management professional with extensive experience in the mining and corporate sectors. Currently serving as Manager of Finance, Treasury, and Risk at Rio Tinto since March 2022, Manuel previously held various roles at the same company, including Principal Advisor and Manager of Business Analysis. At Newmont Corporation, Manuel managed restructuring efforts and led financial planning for LATAM operations. Manuel also contributed as a Consultant for a World Bank initiative aimed at enhancing economic development in Peru's mining supply networks. Earlier career stages include positions at Capital Canada Ltd. and TV Azteca, encompassing financial analysis and account management.
