Emma Hawley

Emma Hawley has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Emma'smost recent role is as a Research Associate at Rion, starting in August 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at NDSU Microbiological Sciences from June 2020 to August 2022. Emma also has experience as a Patient Care Technician at Sanford Medical Center from January 2018 to January 2020. In 2019, they worked as an Outdoor Camping/Kayaking Guide at Wilderness Inquiry. Emma also served as an NDSU Student Manager at NDSU Dining from May 2017 to January 2018. Additionally, Emma worked as a Park Ranger at Cross Ranch State Park from May 2017 to August 2017.

Emma Hawley has a strong academic background in microbiology. Emma obtained their Bachelor's Degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from North Dakota State University, where they studied from 2016 to 2020. Currently, they are pursuing a Master's Degree in Microbiology at the same institution, with a field of study in Microbiology, General. Emma also holds additional certifications in first aid and CPR. In June 2016, they obtained the Heartsaver First Aid CPR AED Skills certification from LIFETIME FITNESS, and in April 2019, they obtained the Wilderness/Remote Location First Aid certification from the American Red Cross. Prior to their university studies, Emma attended Rockford High School from 2012 to 2016.
