Peter Whalen

Peter Whalen is an experienced game development professional with a focus on game design and direction. Currently serving as the Senior Game Director for Teamfight Tactics at Riot Games, Peter has previously held the role of Game Director for both Teamfight Tactics and other projects at Blizzard Entertainment, where responsibilities included leading game design efforts. With a strong foundation in operations research from a tenure as an Operations Research Scientist at Amazon, Peter also brings academic expertise as a PhD graduate in Algorithms from Georgia Institute of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics from Princeton University.
