Sjoerd Wolthers

Sjoerd Wolthers is an accomplished IT executive with extensive experience in technology leadership across various organizations. Currently serving as the Interim Head of IT at RIPE NCC, Sjoerd has previously held significant roles including CIO/CTO at FD Mediagroep and XS4ALL Internet BV, where responsibilities encompassed IT strategy, product ownership, data analytics, and security management. As a Senior Manager at Ahold, Sjoerd managed substantial application portfolios and resource delivery, and earlier roles at Atos Consulting and KPN involved leading change projects and overseeing IT operations and innovation. Sjoerd holds a degree in Business Science from the University of Groningen and a HTS Technical Business Science degree from Inholland University of Applied Sciences.
