David Bounds

David Bounds is the current General Manager at Ripken Baseball. Prior to this, they worked as a Retail Sales Consultant for Verizon Wireless from July 2008 to February 2010. In this role, they managed sales of service contracts, renewals, and accessories, and excelled in meeting quota/revenue targets for net activations, customer renewals, accessories, handsets and enhanced services. David was also responsible for evaluating existing services and proposing solutions to better serve the customer and company, conducting inventory and ordering products, and auditing and reconciling daily cash receipts. During their time at Verizon Wireless, David also served as a Conversion Specialist during the acquisition of Alltel, and helped train Legacy Alltel Store employees in systems management as well as the culture of Verizon Wireless. David remains up-to-date on all wireless products, services, industry and competitive trends.

David Bounds has a Master of Arts in Executive Leadership from Liberty University and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Business Administration and Management, General from Francis Marion University.

David Bounds reports to Ryan Heller, General Manager, Baseball Operations. Some direct reports include Grayson Boone - Operations Coordinator, Caleb Miles - Facilities Manager, and Malia King-Jones - Operations Coordinator. David Bounds works with Lauren Morris - General Manager, Matt Ensworth - General Manager.
