Nazuk Thakkar

Naz is an Analyst on the Ripple Ventures team. She attended Queen's University studying at the Smith School of Business. Having lived in Singapore for 7 years, she brings a fresh perspective to the team having previously worked at Trend Forward Capital, an NYC-based deep tech VC firm. She also has a passion for supporting student founders having worked at Front Row Ventures - Canada's first student-led VC firm. She brings her passion for the industry to her school where she is currently the first student to ever work on developing a course about funding new ventures at Queen's.

In terms of hobbies, not only is she an avid powerlifter but is also the first female president of the school's powerlifting team and loves to big wave kayak, having previously been semi-pro in the sport!
