Oleg Burundukov

Oleg Burundukov is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in software engineering and architecture. Currently serving as Head of Research at METACO since August 2022, Oleg has previously held significant roles at ING Nederland, including Software Architect, where responsibilities included building the Technical Design Board and Architecture Guild. Oleg's expertise spans secure multiparty threshold signing projects, blockchain technologies, and high-performance computing, with notable contributions to the Fnality Payment System and various digital identity initiatives. Prior roles include senior development and quantitative positions at Flow Traders and ABN AMRO, along with software development roles at Ness Global Services, SOLCORP, and Mascot Systems/Mastech. Oleg holds an M.S. in Electronics from Omsk State Technical University and has a background in economics.
