Tammy Jones

Tammy Jones has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Tammy currently works as an Account Manager at RippleEffects since August 2021. Prior to this, they held the same role at Footsteps2Brilliance® starting from March 2020. Tammy also served as the President of Literacy Connections starting from April 2016. In 2020, they briefly worked as a Sales Manager and Representative for VidaShield UV24, a Medical Illuminations Product School Division. From May 2015 to April 2020, Tammy was an Entrepreneur at Rodan + Fields. Their earlier career includes working as the Vice President of Professional Development at Benchmark Education Company from July 1998 to April 2016. Prior to that, they worked at the Arkansas Department of Education from July 1991 to July 1998, where they served as an Early Childhood Curriculum Specialist and Reading Recovery Teacher Leader. In this role, Tammy trained and coached teachers in working with struggling readers, provided professional development to 37 school districts in Literacy, and consulted on curriculum alignment and implementation.

Tammy Jones completed their Bachelor's and Masters degrees in Elementary Education and Teaching at the University of Central Arkansas from 1979 to 1984. Following this, they pursued a Specialist in Reading Education and Curriculum degree at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock from 1992 to 1994.
