Akhil Amod

Akhil Amod currently serves as the Lead Applied Scientist at RISA Labs Inc, where responsibilities include designing a Prior Authorization Submission pipeline as a suite of microservices on a Kubernetes cluster, enhancing healthcare data processing. Previously, as a Data Scientist at Urban Health, Akhil managed the development of a mental wellbeing application and implemented a data streaming pipeline for health data from wearable devices. Experience also includes a role as Machine Learning Advisor at Hornbill Labs, where Akhil developed and deployed machine learning models, and as a Software Developer at the same company, where a Django-based application was created for predictive analysis. Akhil's career began with a research internship at Boeing. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
