Henry Castellanos

Director, Data Science at Risas Dental and Braces

Henry Castellanos has an extensive work experience in the field of data science and analytics. Henry currently holds the position of Director of Data Science at Risas Dental and Braces since November 2018. Prior to this, they worked at EY from February 2017 to October 2018 as a Senior Consultant in the Advisory department, specializing in People Analytics. During their time at EY, Henry was involved in building a new analytics practice within the People Advisory Service, where they worked on developing analytics offerings, building proof of concept data products, and serving clients.

Before EY, Henry worked at Deloitte from November 2014 to February 2017 as a Consultant in the Analytics and Information Management (AIM) department, specifically in the Advanced Analytics Group. In this role, they led the development of a Big Data project for the U.S. Census Bureau.

Prior to Deloitte, Henry worked at PwC as an Associate in the Advanced Risk and Compliance Analytics department from January 2014 to November 2014. During their time at PwC, they worked on engagement projects related to compliance with the Fed's Comprehensive Capital Analysis and Review (CCAR), as well as developing statistical models for forecasting losses for a multinational bank.

Henry's work experience also includes a research internship at The Brookings Institution and an analyst role at Mercer, where they worked on data analysis and rate setting for state Medicaid agencies.

Henry Castellanos received their Bachelor of Science in Economics from the W. P. Carey School of Business at Arizona State University in 2012. Henry then went on to obtain a Master of Science in Econometrics (Applied Economics) from the Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs from 2014 to 2017. In addition to their formal education, they obtained certifications in Machine Learning from Coursera in April 2020 and in PHR (Professional in Human Resources) from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in February 2018.
