THE JOB

  • You’ll be a key member of the team in the US, working closely with our global social director, client services team and clients to lead work and build deep long-lasting relationships.

  • Working with the team, you’ll be developing approaches to social for clients across the USA. You’ll have a thorough understanding of how to create and manage best-in-class social media strategies, campaigns, content and platforms.

  • Create content calendars for both paid and organic assets, and create copy with oversight from the team.

  • Work with external and internal creators or designers on creating assets, liaising with clients for reviews and approvals.

  • Oversee creative brainstorming, community management, social copywriting, scriptwriting, short and long-form copywriting, reporting. For this, the senior manager will oversee work created by junior content managers and other members of the team.

  • Lead social coverage for live events (using smartphone technology), and marketing and junket shoots, briefing and managing high profile entertainment talent

  • Consistently sharing updates and features to clients before they find out themselves. You’re  a social native - obsessed with brands, social media campaigns and a key ear to the ground monitoring the latest platform features as they roll out.

  • Experience working with and managing creators/influencers, to effectively work closely with the internal Rise team whilst coordinating the activations by leading on client-related communication.

  • Immerse yourself deeply into client objectives and target audiences, to enable you to drive short/long performance and brand objectives.

  • A deep understanding of how each social platform works, with an understanding of their nuances.

  • A key eye for what’s happening in culture, spotting trends anywhere and everywhere to put our clients at the centre of them - where relevant. Producing reactive strategies as a result

  • Confident spotting opportunities for clients outside of the existing scope of work, both in the immediate and longer term.

  • Assist in the creation and management of monthly and weekly social content calendars to ensure the successful delivery of captivating content.

  • Advantageous but not essential: Be able to incorporate best practice social SEO into client content to maximise organic reach, understanding optimising content for long tail searches and keywords for views and rankings.

  • Review all content before it goes out the door, assessing and ensuring we’re meeting client objectives and aligning it back to our social strategy.

  • Reporting on performance, both long and short term objectives - with the ability to clearly understand and strategically articulate key insights to the team and clients

  • Lead on the development of the social media presence for our client, helping grow reach and engagement for their social channels with excellent creative and strategy.

  • You'll have a minimum of 4-6 years of experience working in social media (agency-side preferable)

APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 4-6 years experience
  • To apply, please include a portfolio of case study work, content creation or influencer strategies (if possible) along with CV or cover letter
  • Someone with a basic understanding of Platform business manager (i.e Facebook business manager, Twitter business, Snapchat for Business)
  • Experience creating content for social media: static asset, short and long form video (Reels, TikTok and longer scripted pieces), GIPHY stickers, GIFs, memes
  • Somebody with experience building online communities, especially for brands, and that understands fandom communities in social spaces
  • Someone with experience delivering social campaigns at a national level
  • Experience working in a social/integrated agency
