Robert Hardie

Senior Client Solutions Specialist at Risilience

Robert Hardie has worked in the sustainability and research sector since 2015. In 2015, they began a PhD Scholarship at The Grantham Centre for Sustainable Futures, during which they conducted research in the Niger Delta region of Nigeria. In 2020, they moved to The University of Sheffield, where they held the role of Sustainability Project Development Officer. In this role, they led the sustainability theme of the University of Sheffield's regional engagement programme, connecting research capability at the university with a diverse range of organisations in the South Yorkshire region. Currently, they are employed as a Client Solutions Specialist at Risilience.

Robert Hardie earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Public-Private Partnerships in Carbon Sequestration Projects in Low and Middle Income Countries from The University of Sheffield in 2019. Prior to that, they completed a Master's Degree in Environmental Change and International Development (Distinction) from The University of Sheffield in 2015. Robert also obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Geography from Newcastle University in 2009.
