Edgar Hernández

Edgar Hernández has a strong background in software engineering and web development. Edgar is currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at RiskOptics, where they are involved in the development of the ROAR Platform. This platform provides a real-time view of risk and compliance in a business context. Edgar's role includes working with Next.js, styled-components, Redux Toolkit, RTK query, primeReact, and TypeScript.

Prior to their current role, Edgar worked as a contractor software engineer for Virtana, a cloud computing company, at Encora Inc. Edgar was responsible for migrating an existing product to Next.js and utilized various features such as AG Grid, material-UI, JSS, SWR, hooks, Axios, and Cypress.

Edgar was involved in building and maintaining a configuration portal and updated CMP v2 based on IAB criteria. Both projects were built using React.

Earlier in their career, Edgar worked for Open International as a Frontend Software Developer and UX/UI Designer. Edgar was responsible for evaluating, designing, building, and testing web applications for telecommunications and utilities companies. Additionally, they participated in migrating software from .NET to HTML5 using Ext.
