Marc Hodies

Marc Hodies has over 35 years of work experience in various roles related to cyber security and technology. Marc is currently working as the Principal Threat Hunting and Intelligence Engineer at RITE AID. Prior to this, they worked as the Principal Cyber Security Consultant at CyberTactics from 2016 to 2022, where they designed and implemented a Threat Hunting program and led a team focused on threat research. Before that, they served as a Senior Principal Consultant at BAE Systems from 2013 to 2016, where they provided training and mentoring in cyber exploitation. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Cyber Security Principal Scientist at QinetIQ-NA, providing support in cyber security and systems engineering for the U.S. government. Marc also worked as a Program Director and Info Tech Scientist at ManTech from 2006 to 2011, providing cyber security consulting to U.S. agencies. Marc has experience working as a NASA Security Officer Contractor at SAIC and as a Technical Manager at Verizon Business. Marc started their career as a Project Engineer/Test Manager at Boeing in 1985.

Marc Hodies completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Aerospace Engineering from Virginia Tech in the years 1981 to 1985. Later, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Drexel University's LeBow College of Business, which they completed between 1986 and 1992.
