We are looking for a Data Engineer with experience building and maintaining data pipelines. Someone who is a data wrangler and enjoys optimizing data systems and has a passion for leveraging machine learning models and LLMs to enhance data-driven solutions. 

At Ritual, we iterate frequently and use data to measure the impact of all our products and features. Our data infrastructure runs on Google Cloud, built with Python microservices in Kubernetes, Snowflake, Google Dataflow, Elasticsearch, Apache Airflow and Looker for business analytics. You will build containerized services that expose data via APIs to internal systems, data pipelines and machine learning pipelines with Airflow and Dataflow, ad-hoc analysis in Jupyter notebooks and data warehouse models to help surface key insights.

As a Data Engineer at Ritual you will…

  • Create and maintain optimal data pipeline architecture.
  • Construct large and intricate datasets that meet functional and non-functional business requirements for assigned projects.
  • Build the infrastructure required for optimal extraction, transformation, and loading of data from a wide variety of data sources.
  • Build analytics tools that utilize the data pipeline to provide actionable insights into customer acquisition, operational efficiency and other key business performance metrics.
  • Implement LLM-powered data extraction methods to gather relevant data.
  • Assist stakeholders in addressing data-related technical issues and fulfill their data infrastructure needs.

We’re looking for a Data Engineer that has…

  • 4+ years of experience in a Data Engineer role.
  • Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems or another quantitative field or relevant experience.
  • Advanced working SQL knowledge and experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) and Airflow.
  • Experience with object-oriented & functional scripting languages including Python and Java.
  • Professional experience with LLMs
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines for data engineering.
  • Experience building and optimizing ‘big data’ data pipelines, architectures and data sets.
  • Strong analytic skills related to working with unstructured datasets.
  • Build processes supporting data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
