Dr. Girish Gaur has a diverse work experience in the field of lab operations, molecular diagnostics, and molecular pathology. Dr. Girish is currently serving as the Associate Director - Lab Operations at Rivaara Labs, where they provide leadership to the team and is responsible for the planning, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of all technical and operational activities.

Prior to this, Dr. Gaur worked as a Non Executive Director at SUSHRUTA GENOMICS, where they provided senior advisory roles in clinical operational, bioinformatics, and clinical informatics. Dr. Girish also played a vital role in setting up the facility and ensuring staff integration and coordination.

Dr. Gaur has also worked as a Consultant - Molecular Diagnostics at Healthians, Consultant - Molecular Pathology at Modern Diagnostic & Research Centre, and Lab Director at PREFERRED PATH LABS. In these roles, they focused on scaling up operations, managing Covid-19 diagnostic facilities, and providing senior leadership in clinical operations and bioinformatics.

Dr. Girish started their education journey in 1999, earning a Bachelor's Degree in Life Sciences from Maharshi Dayanand University. Dr. Girish then pursued a Master's Degree in Genetics from the same university and completed it in 2002.

Continuing their academic pursuits, Dr. Gaur enrolled at the All India Institute of Medical Sciences in 2006 and earned a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Molecular Microbiology in 2009. Subsequently, they attended the University of Rome Tor Vergata from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained their second Ph.D., this time in Molecular Hematology.

In 2013, Dr. Gaur embarked on a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.) program in Hospital Management at Karnataka State Open University, Mysore, which they pursued until 2015.

In addition to their degrees, Dr. Girish Gaur has acquired several certifications throughout their career. In 2019, they completed the College of American Pathologists-Inspection Team Leader Training. Dr. Girish had previously obtained the College of American Pathologists-Inspection Team Member Training in 2017. Moreover, in 2016, they became a Certified EpiCore Member, a program involving collaboration between various organizations focused on infectious diseases. Furthermore, they obtained the NABL Internal Auditor certification from the National Accreditation Board For Testing and Calibration Laboratories in 2014.
