Laurel Sebastian

Laurel Sebastian is an experienced Restoration Science Ecologist and Project Manager currently working at River Partners since January 2024. Laurel completed a Master of Science in Ecology at the University of California, Davis, focusing on the impact of plants on soil carbon sequestration in restored grasslands. Previous roles include ecological horticulture internship at Cache Creek Conservancy, Education Manager and Lead Program Manager at KIDS for the BAY, and Forest Health Education Coordinator at Mountain Studies Institute, among others. Laurel's diverse background encompasses field research, education, ecological assessment, and project management, supported by a Bachelor of Arts in Environmental Science from Colorado College.
