Christian Vella

Christian Vella has worked in the software engineering field since 2012. In 2012, they were a Software Developer at Yellow Pages Malta Ltd, where they worked on a Client WPF Application for Sales Representatives and MS SQL and Database Replication (mirroring). In 2013, they joined Thynk Software as a Software Engineer and worked on a number of different applications on different platforms including Windows 8 Store Apps/WinRT using MVVM pattern and frameworks, an AngularJS Web App which uses WebAPI 2.0 as a backend communication service and MongoDB as a NoSQL Database, and a WPF Application which uses WCF Services as a backend for communication + Entity Framework and MS SQL (Stored Procedures, Updates etc.). In 2020, they joined River Tech plc as a Senior Full Stack Engineer.

Christian Vella has a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Software Development from MCAST, which they obtained between 2006 and 2013. Christian also obtained a CCNA in Networking from STC between 2008 and 2009. In 2016, they obtained an MCSA: Web Applications from Computer Domain, as well as Developing Microsoft Azure and Web Services, and an additional MCSA: Web Applications.
