Joshua Kaster is a research scientist at Riverain Technologies. Joshua has been with the company since July 2020 and has been instrumental in training custom ML models for CT classification, segmentation, and regression. Joshua is also responsible for statistical data engineering and processing for PE, CAC, ventricle segmentation. In addition, Joshua is the data engine architect - automated DataOps and MLOps for continuous training.
Joshua has strong scientific Python programming skills, research and science MATLAB programming skills, and data science and analysis skills. Joshua is also well-versed in scientific research and computer vision. Joshua's areas of focus include medical imaging (X-ray, CT, Ultrasound), CAD (Computer Aided Diagnosis), advanced algorithms development, statistical machine learning, and evaluating and innovating algorithms.
Joshua Kaster received their Master’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Dayton. Joshua also holds a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Cedarville University. Furthermore, Joshua Kaster has an Associate’s Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Metropolitan Community College-Blue River. Lastly, they have a High School Diploma in Engineering from Blue Springs High School. Joshua Kaster is also certified from Cape Project Management Inc in Leidos Scrum Master Certification.
