Joe Czyz

Joe Czyz has extensive work experience in the field of technology and engineering. Joe started their career in 1994 as a LAN Administrator/Telecom Assistant Manager at CIMCO Communications, Inc, where they managed hardware, software, and user accounts for the company's local area network. From 1997 to 2000, Joe worked at Caterpillar Inc. as a WAN Systems Analyst/Engineer, where they developed and implemented network designs for facilities worldwide.

In 2000, Joe joined Cisco Systems as a Network Support Engineer, providing on-site post-sales support for Broadwing's network operations and architecture teams. Joe then moved on to work as a Systems Engineer, providing national sales and engineering support for both Broadwing Inc and Cingular Wireless. Joe's responsibilities included data center operations, network operations control, architecture/design support, and executive relations.

From 2006 to 2016, Joe served in several roles at Cisco Systems, including Systems Engineering Manager for the Cingular Wireless Account Team, Systems Engineering Manager for the AT&T Field East Account, Customer Solutions Architect for AT&T's Plano Foundry, and Systems Engineering Manager for the Cisco-Verizon Account Team.

In 2017, Joe joined Riverbed Technology as a Solutions Engineering Manager, leading teams of solutions engineers for the Enterprise South Central and Commercial West. Joe was later promoted to the position of Senior Director, Solutions Engineering, where they were responsible for developing multiple engineering teams' ability to sell Riverbed's portfolio of solutions and providing national sales coverage across half of North America.

Throughout their career, Joe has worked on a wide range of technologies and solutions, including SD-WAN, SD-LAN, digital performance, cloud architectures, storage, compute, SDN, NFV, openstack, automation, M2M, cloud, big data analytics, mobility, NFC, APIs, and more.

Joe Czyz obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Ergonomic Psychology from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign in the period from 1988 to 1993. Joe further pursued education at DeVry University and received a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) in Network and Communication Management between 1994 and 1997. Additionally, they hold several certifications obtained in 2021 from LinkedIn, including "Recharge Your Energy for Peak Performance," "Time Management: Working from Home," and "What's Next: Reinventing Work in the New Normal."
