Matt Gordon has a diverse background in software engineering and management. Matt started their career as a QA Intern at Sycamore Networks in 2000 and then transitioned to a Test Automation Engineer role, where they developed testing tools, automated test cases, and trained QA engineers. In 2005, Matt joined Mazu Networks as a Test Engineer, responsible for developing and executing test cases and implementing an automated testing system using Perl. Matt later transitioned to a Software Engineer role, supporting network data collection and storage. Mazu Networks was acquired by Riverbed Technology. At Riverbed, Matt held multiple roles, including Member of Technical Staff, Senior Software Engineering Manager, and Senior Director of Software Engineering. In these roles, they led teams of software engineers, delivered various features, improved system security and scalability, and implemented continuous integration processes.
Matt Gordon earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Engineering Technology from Wentworth Institute of Technology from 1997 to 2001. Matt then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science from DePaul University and completed it from 2006 to 2010.
