Elizabeth Pillsbury

Elizabeth Pillsbury has a diverse work experience in education and leadership roles. Elizabeth has served as a History Teacher, Director of Experiential Education and Summer Programs at Riverdale Country School, an Instructor in the Pre College Program at Barnard College, and a History Teacher at Horace Mann School. Additionally, they have been a Post Doctoral Fellow at Stony Brook University and a Tour Guide at Big Onion Walking Tours. Elizabeth has also held leadership positions as a Board Member at Living City Project and ISEEN, where they serve as the Chair of the Inclusion Committee.

Elizabeth Pillsbury earned a Bachelor of Arts in History from Kenyon College in 1998. Elizabeth then went on to complete their Doctor of Philosophy in American History and Environmental History at Columbia University from 2002 to 2009.
