Gyles Southwell has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Gyles started their career as a Managing Director at The Long Sock Shop, where they led a team of 13 students in starting a clothing company from scratch. Gyles then worked as a Team Leader at Laser Summer Camp, managing and leading groups of children. Gyles continued their career as an Entertainment Assistant at Swansea Student Events, working in high-pressure environments and marketing events. Gyles also worked as a Raw Material Planner/Analyst at Cobell Ltd, where they played a key role in analyzing sales, stock, and logistics. Gyles further worked as a Raw Material & Production Planner at Frobishers Juices Ltd, responsible for planning production and managing stock using SAP. Prior to their current position, Gyles was a Sports Data Analyst at ATASS Sports. Currently, they are working at Riverford Organic Farmers as the Head of Trading, leading a team of seven members and collaborating with various stakeholders to drive commercial objectives and develop strategies.
Gyles Southwell attended Exeter School from 2002 to 2013. During this time, they pursued A levels in Maths, Economics, History, and Politics. From 2013 to 2016, Gyles then went on to study at Swansea University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Economics.
