Georgi Karakhanyan

Georgi Karakhanyan is an experienced police officer with the Riverside Police Department since July 2024 and previously served as a Deputy with the Riverside County Sheriff's Office from November 2023 to July 2025. Alongside law enforcement, Georgi is the owner and head coach at the Original Grappler Training Center, actively teaching Jiu Jitsu and KickBoxing to both kids and adults. A former professional athlete with Bellator MMA, Georgi has also worked as a Martial Arts Instructor at Millennia MMA and USKO, demonstrating a strong commitment to self-defense education and wellness programs. Georgi's diverse background includes roles such as a construction project coordinator and a trainer at various organizations. Currently pursuing an Associate of Arts in Criminal Justice and Corrections from Riverside Community College, Georgi brings a unique blend of athletic expertise, teaching experience, and a focus on community well-being.
