Kyle Merrill

Kyle Merrill is a vocational coordinator at Riverview School. Prior to that, they were a teacher at Dennis-Yarmouth Regional High School from August 2013 to July 2015. In their role as a teacher, they provided academic support as a special education liaison to students across all subject areas. Kyle also designed lesson plans and units based on Massachusetts and Common Core standards. Kyle evaluated student instructional and behavioral needs and wrote Individualized Educational Plans based upon student data, observation, and assessment in collaboration with students, families, and other staff. Kyle provided progress reports to parents and legal guardians and maintained ongoing communication with each student’s parent or legal guardian regarding their or their educational needs and progress.

Kyle Merrill graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. Kyle then went on to earn their Master of Education in Special Education and Teaching from Lesley University.
