Alexander Nelson has a diverse work experience spanning various industries. Alexander started their career as a Fundraiser at The Episcopal Academy, where they co-created the "Spare Change to Change a Life" project, raising over $14K to support the Biamba Marie Hospital in Kinshasa, Congo. Alexander also worked with NBA veteran Dikembe Mutombo and promoted public awareness about global healthcare.

Alexander then worked as a Communications Coordinator at the Mayor's Office of Philadelphia, where they drafted various communication materials and supported media relations. Alexander also collected and organized media clips during their tenure.

Alexander later transitioned to Rutgers University as a Marketing Coordinator, where they proofread and organized an academic textbook and analyzed research data to inform marketing strategy. Alexander also coordinated on-campus events to improve community awareness.

Alexander joined Dixon Advisory as a Marketing Coordinator and eventually became a Marketing Manager. In these roles, they led a team of marketers and managed marketing strategies, including lead generation, sales enablement, CRM/CMS management, contact nurturing, and customer retention.

Currently, Alexander is the Director of Marketing at Rivery, a fully-managed SaaS platform for data ingestion and workflow orchestration. Alexander is responsible for overseeing marketing initiatives and supporting the growth of the company.

Throughout their career, Alexander has demonstrated strong leadership skills and expertise in marketing strategy and execution.

Alexander Nelson received a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from Rutgers University, which they completed from 2012 to 2016. In addition to their formal education, they have obtained several certifications. These certifications include "Managing the Value of Customer Relationships" from The Wharton School in November 2019, "Marketing Tools: SEO" from LinkedIn in October 2019, "Advancing Negotiation Skills" from Scotwork North America in February 2019, "Inbound Marketing Certified" from HubSpot in September 2019, "Google Analytics Individual Qualification" from Google in September 2019, and "Google Ads Fundamentals" from Google in December 2018.
