Jacob Guinn

Jacob Guinn has a diverse work experience spanning over 20 years. Jacob is currently the Director of Executive Search at Riviera Partners, where they help place executive leadership talent in software engineering, product management, and design roles. Prior to this, they were a Principal Talent Partner at Riviera, where they worked with global tech innovators and investors. Before joining Riviera, Jacob worked as an Associate Partner at Arete Partners, focusing on talent acquisition. Jacob also has experience in employee benefits consulting, having managed the practice for over forty clients at Postlethwaite & Netterville. Jacob's earlier roles include working as an Employee Benefits Technical Consultant at Bryan, Pendleton, Swats & McAllister, LLC, as In-House Counsel at Pilot Travel Centers, LLC, and as Vice President, Legal Counsel at Community South Bank. Jacob also served as City Law Clerk at the City of Knoxville. Jacob's career began as a Staff Accountant at Kraft Bros., Esstman, Patton & Harrell, PLLC.

Jacob Guinn completed their Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree in Accounting from East Tennessee State University in 2000. Following this, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Accounting and Finance at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU), finishing in 2002. Jacob then went on to earn their Doctor of Law (JD) degree with a focus on Transactions from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, which they successfully completed in 2007.
