Xiao Pan

Xiao Pan has a solid work history in the field of software development. Xiao started their career at IBM in 2011, where they held the position of Leading Data Characterization Engineer for six years. In 2018, they joined Click Therapeutics, Inc. as a Full Stack Engineer, contributing to the development of web and mobile applications using technologies such as React and React Native. Xiao also played a role in migrating services from monolithic to gRPC structured microservices. In 2020, Xiao Pan joined Cultivate as a Software Developer, where they developed and deployed a backend system from scratch using Node.js, Postgres, Heroku, and Redis. Xiao also collaborated with the frontend team to improve testing, data integrity, and authorization strategies. Most recently, they joined Rize Education as a Software Developer in 2021.

Xiao Pan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Physics from the University of Science and Technology of China from 2001 to 2005. Following that, Xiao Pan pursued a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Engineering Physics/Applied Physics at Yale University from 2005 to 2011. Additionally, Xiao Pan obtained the SAS Certified Base Programmer for SAS 9 certification from SAS in April 2016.
