Grady Adkins has a strong background in engineering and management. Grady started their career in 1970 with USDA-NRCS as a Civil Engineer and later worked as the State Design Engineer. In 1992, they became the State Conservation Engineer. In 2006, Adkins joined Paul C Rizzo Associates Inc as the Chief Engineering Manager, a position they held until 2012 when they were promoted to Project Director. In 2014, they joined RIZZO Associates as an Engineering Director and in 2017, they moved to Rizzo International, where they continue to work in the same role.
Grady Adkins attended The Citadel from 1962 to 1966, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Following this, in 1966, they attended Clemson University for one year, focusing on Civil Engineering, but did not earn a degree.
