Matthew O'Connor

Matthew O'Connor is an Engineering Associate at RIZZO International, Inc. since July 2022, with a robust background in engineering and internationalization efforts. Prior to this role, Matthew served as a Senior Fellow at the University of Notre Dame International, focusing on campus-wide events that promoted international engagement. Matthew's experience includes working as a Project Engineering Intern at The Walsh Group, where a significant achievement was the development of a comprehensive report analyzing construction delay costs for a major project. Additionally, Matthew has led educational initiatives as a Course Facilitator for high school students at the University of Notre Dame Summer Scholars program and gained customer service experience as a Cashier at Starbucks. A former Midshipman in the US Navy ROTC, Matthew holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Notre Dame.
